Sorenson Capital Operating Partner, Donald Blohm, Named New Interim CEO

ST. GEORGE, UTAH—May 15, 2015—weBoost®, the global leader in cellular signal boosters formerly known as Wilson Electronics, today announced that Robert Van Buskirk has resigned as President and CEO citing personal reasons. Donald Blohm, operating partner at Sorenson Capital, will lead as Interim CEO effective immediately.

Since the acquisition of Wilson Electronics by Sorenson Capital, Blohm has held the position of chief operating officer, and is well positioned to lead weBoost during the interim period.

“Bob has been an incredible leader for weBoost during his time as CEO, championing milestones like the FCC re-certification process and our recent rebranding,” said LeGrand Lewis, chairman of the board for weBoost and a Managing Director at Sorenson Capital. “He has put this company in a strong position for 2015 as we exit the second quarter.  Don is eminently capable to take the reins and continue to push the business forward. Sorenson Capital is heavily invested in weBoost’s future and looks forward to all we will accomplish this year. We’ll begin the search for a new, permanent CEO without delay.”

With expertise in identification and implementation of operational improvements that impact bottom-line results, Blohm joined Sorenson Capital in 2010. In his more than 25 years of operational executive experience, Blohm has utilized his diverse experience across a number of industrial markets, including mining, oil and gas, power, chemical, and various consumer products.

I am sorry to hear the sad news. Ever since I started researching signal boosters 6 months ago, Weboost has been the only company making big changes to improve the industry. Minor setback to a major comeback!!! Keep it coming Weboost!!!
