Cell Coverage Indoors!!

Live in a rural area of southeast Virginia and had zero coverage indoors, tried the Verizon network extender but it would ALWAYS drop calls. Installed the Connect 3G-X system and finally can make calls and text indoors without the hassle of dropped calls, plus anyone else on other cell providers can use the system not just Verizon.

Great Product, Great Company

We bought the Eco model first, it worked but not as well as we had hoped for. We upgraded to the 3G-X and have been happy. Customer Support was great and sent us a more powerful antenna.

Finally can make a call

The 3G-X was recommended by one of the advanced advisors. WeBoost initially sent the wrong device which caused a lot of delay and extra work. When the correct device finally arrived, it boosted our reception from a half bar to two and a half bars---from -117 to -75 reception strength. Not great, but enough to make/ receive calls and texts.

Our Cabin is Now Reachable

We have a summer cabin on an island in lake Michigan where cell service was almost nill most of the time. We decided to try this unit on the recommendation of one of your technical advisors named Patrick. He told me I would be very happy with the results. He was right! We now have excellent service on both our Cellcom and AT&T. We can now make and receive calls without losing the connection or constantly asking " Can you hear me now?'

No G to 4G and 5 bars!!!

So at first I thought this was a bust. We have a place in the middle of nowhere for cell service (Fisher's Landing north of Yuma, AZ). Spotty coverage, lucky to get one bar and texts most of the time. Sometimes you get two bars and 3G, but just enough to make you angry with the 20 minutes to download one photo. Usually you lose signal before completing any data transfer. I took this out there, connected everything and got on a ladder just above roof level. I pointed the thing 8 different directions and no noticeable difference at all for cell signal. I was convinced I needed to take it home and return it. The next day I though, what the heck I'm here all weekend, so I took it to the other side of the house and mounted it on the old TV antenna pole about 3' above the roof and I pointed opposite where I had started before (north towards Picacho, not south to Yuma). Almost instantly we had 4 bars and 3G. Within a few minutes the signal strengthened to 5 bars with 4G service on Verizon. Multiple users (5) enjoyed internet connection and downloads as good or better than being in the city, with consistent signal strength inside and around the house. Now we have great service every time we go to the river. I highly recommend this product, but I think the elevated mounting (above rooftops) and patience with location / direction is important for the best performance.

Question: What is the maximum antenna cable length? We have a spot inside a 430'x220' industrial facility that needs coverage and cannot run cables through the ceiling directly. They will have to go around the inside and outside of the facility due to the layout.

Answer: Thank you for your question! Typically, we recommend 100 feet being a max. However, there are certain situations where upgrade cabling might compensate for cable loss- if the starting signal is sufficient. We recommend reaching out to us directly to discuss the length needed and starting signal. You can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Answer: Thank you for your questions. Our boosters will help you with a better connection to the tower. We would like to help you take some decibel readings to ensure that a booster is best for your situation. You can reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Hello, I am in Haines, Alaska and we have a business here that we would like to extend service to. You can barely get one bar on the property. Is this the booster for us?

Answer: Thank you for your question! The Connect 3G-X is one of the most powerful boosters we offer, and is sometimes used to compensate for weak outside signal. As long as with the one bar outside, you are able to make and keep calls, the booster should work for your application. The booster will work much like a megaphone. The quieter the starting sound, the closer you have to be to hear it. The louder the starting sound, the farther that sound will travel. We recommend reaching out to us directly, so we can gather decibel readings outside to help identify what approximate coverage you should expect to see. You can reach us directly here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Question: will this unit allow us to utilize Verizon wireless internet service were now we only receive 1 bar only other option is satellite services for now?

Answer: Thank you for the question. It is possible that we may be able to help boost your Verizon service, however, we would like to take signal readings outside to help determine what the signal is like in numerical readings. Finding these numbers will help allow us to make a more accurate recommendation. You can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Answer: Thank you for your question! There is a chance we could help, as long as you are able to make and keep calls outside. We may be able to place your phone in test mode, to get a better idea of how our boosters would work for your situation. Please reach out to us here: [email protected]

Question: Purchased signalboost, May,2010.  No longer works.  Green light is always on but on occasions turns orange.  I am back to one bar. When installed, I had five bars.  Can you help me determine the problem?  Thanks

Answer: Thank you for you question. It sounds like you are experiencing some overload or too strong of a signal outside. You will need to move or rotate your external antenna to try and lessen the signal coming into the booster. Please reach out to us here for more help: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Hi, im interested in getting this device to use in Colombia in a rural place. I called my cellphone provider and they told me that the range they work with where i am going to use the device is form 1900 to 2100. Will it work? thank you

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! We are able to help the 1900 MHz frequency, and a portion of the 2100. Whether we can help boost your carriers band will depend on what part of each frequency they are using (the band ranges). We recommend reaching back out to them to help identify which portion of each frequency band they use on the 1900 and 2100 band, so we can be sure we are able to fully support you. You can reach us directly for detailed support here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have the weboost 3G in a cabin in Washington state near Carlton, WA. I do not know where my strongest signal from Verizon is? How do I find that. My cabin is 18 feet high, but placing the inside antenna 20 below is in the basement

Answer: Thank you for the question. You can find test modes for many different types of phones here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/articles/206521937-Finding-Your-Phone-s-Signal-Strength-Reading-Field-Test-Mode- -50 is considered nearly perfect signal, so as you are walking on the roof area on all sides, you will want to find and note the number closest to -50 that you see. Wherever you find the least negative number is where you would typically want to place the antenna. We also recommend reaching out to us, so we can go over these readings with you and help determine if the signal strength is strong enough for the booster to use optimally. http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have a 5600 sq ft home and a 1000 sq ft guest house 90 ft away. I have weak verizon signal in both and am looking for a product that would boost signal in both with one application.  Putting guest house on Airbnb.com and need it to have stronger signal.

Answer: Thank you for your question! For best results, we recommend using a separate booster system per home. The longer cable runs you have, the more loss you can introduce to the system. Additionally, each booster will cover area based on the outside signal. If the outside signal is weak, the booster may not support cabling in excess of 90 ft. Please reach out to us directly for assistance. You can reach us here: [email protected]
