Question: I have a 4G Xamplifier. A car wash took my mini antenna and ripped the cable out of the amplifier. Is it a female or male connection on the amplifier

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! The Drive 4G-X has SMA Female ends, therefore the 301126 is the correct outside antenna. Please reach out to us for additional questions here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have the 4G-M vehicle booster and my cable got cut do I need the male or female connection? My existing antenna cable has a spinning nut on the end of it.

Answer: Thank you for your question. The Drive 4G-M will have an SMA (F) connection. Our mobile antenna 301126 (4" mini magnetic mount) will have an SMA (M) connector. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have a 4G-S cradle booster with mini mag antenna. I want to mount the antenna to the top of my motorhome using an old antenna dish as the magnetic mount point. Can I extend the cable by adding a cable union and more cable?

Answer: We do not like to recommend adding cable to the vehicle antennas, because of signal loss. We recommend trying to work with the length of the cable on the antenna if at all possible. In order to go over loss, and potential cable extensions, we recommend reaching out to us directly by submitting a ticket. You can submit a ticket here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Does this antenna  need a ground plane?  I am putting on an RV roof and would like to just VHB it to the fiberglass roof

Answer: This antenna will require a ground plane. For RV roofs, we recommend installing a 4'' steel plate to the top, and applying the antenna to the metal plate.
