Question: Is the glass mount a good option for an aluminum body truck?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The glass mount can be a good option with certain boosters, but may not be recommended with some because of oscillation. We recommend reaching out to us directly for a more specific recommendation. You can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have read that the use of this Antena with the area booster causes issues with signal interferance, is that true?

Answer: Yes, the Glass Mount antenna will generally cause oscillation or interference with the wireless boosters. We recommend staying with the Mini Magnet Mount that comes in the kit.

Question: I am looking to get the Wilson Electronics Mobile 4g Cellular Signal Booster and would like to get a more permanent antena, like this one as I would rather not drill a hole into my car, is there a significant loss in power to the stock mag one?

Answer: The Glass Mount Antenna is likely to cause oscillation/interference with the Mobile 4G or any of the wireless boosters. It is also not as strong as the magnet mount antenna. if you would like a permanent mount rather than the magnet, you are going to need to go with the NMO antenna and cable. https://store.weboost.com/products/311104 https://store.weboost.com/products/nmo-mount-3-8-inch

Question: What do i need to use the antenna w my samsung s5 active phone,? Will it alone give me better reception?I work on a boat on the Miss river,

Answer: Most phones no longer have external antenna ports to allow for direct connect to external antennas. This antenna alone will not improve reception. It must be used with a booster, or cellular device. For marine applications, we recommend the Drive 4G-X (470510). https://store.weboost.com/products/drive-4gx

Question: Does the window mount antenna 311102 have the same performance and the magnet antenna for the Sleek. I have a sleek that is around 5 years old and I did purchase the taller magnet antenna and it works great. I am interested in this antenna. Thanks

Answer: The window mount antenna is not going to be as strong as the magnet mount antennas. Although the window mount is a great antenna, and it has specific situation when it can be the right choice, it is not going to give you the same amount of gain. If you are trying to use any antenna other than what comes in the kit, I recommend looking in the booster installation guide, and calling Customer Support at 866-294-1660 option 1.
