Provided 4x increase in download speed

Installed the directional antenna on my travel trailer, located in La Ventana Baja Sur Mexico, connecting to my 4GM booster. I used an android app, LTE Discovery, to show the direction to the cell tower and aligned the antenna accordingly. While my cell provider is TMobile I connect thru 3G Telcel. Using another app, Ooka Speedtest, I measured 2.2 Mbps without the booster and 8.8 with the booster. The LTE Discovery app seems like a good method to determine cell direction when aligning the antenna.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Oh! What a difference it makes!

I bought the booster about a month ago and installed it and an external antenna today. Guess I should say I live out in the middle of nowhere, BFE. Before I installed the booster and antenna we had to stand outside our house to make a phone call. We now have LTE reception in the farthest point in our house from the booster. I feel like I am part on civilization again. I should also mention the tech I spoke to at weboost/Wilson Electronics was unbelievable helpful.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

used with WeBoost and receive great signal

We purchased a WeBoost signal amplifier and the Wide Band Directional Antenna. When we purchased it, I could not receive a signal and my husband's phone only received one bar. I now receive 3 to 4 bars and my husband has a full signal. If you live in the country where cell signals are almost non-existent, this is a great tool so you can use your phones!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

works fantastic

When we had a new metal roof put on the house our signal went from decent to nonexistent in the house. After installing the antenna and the inside booster/receiver, we now have better signal strength in the house (all bars) than outside. Very affordable as well

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Question: hello, Is this antenna woks at 1500mhz? Thanks

Answer: Thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend our antenna for the 1500 MHz at this time, as we have not tested it on that frequency. For additional questions you can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: How do aim this unit? I would be using it with a 4G-S and I-phone 5C. I use the phone to broadcast a hotspot.

Answer: Thank you for your question. You are welcome to contact your carrier for assistance in finding the general direction of the tower, and you can use your cell phone to hone in on the signal. Often times, one will turn the antenna in small degrees, while another person will sit with the phone by the internal antenna watching the decibels change. You are welcome to reach out to us for assistance at ant point during the installation. You can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Will this work with the Mobile 4G Booster 460108?   I work from my RV and I'm looking to improve my signal strength when parked in more remote places.

Answer: Thank you for your question. You are welcome to use the wideband with the 460108. We recommend using the 955822 cable to attach the wideband to the booster. This cabling has an SMA fitting for the booster, and an N fitting for the natenna. You can find this cable through many of our re-sellers. Question: Will this antenna work with the Home 4G model 470101?

Answer: Thank you for your question. This antenna will work for the Home 4G model, however, recommend the 314475 model so that it matches coax ends. To be FCC compliant, you would need a minimum of 30' of RG-6 cabling attached. For additional questions, please feel free to reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I'm considering purchasing a 470201 Weboost RV repeater for my RV and wanted to ask if the 314411 antenna can be used in lieu of the panel antenna that comes with the repeater. It seems the impedance is not the same on both antennas.

Answer: Thank you for your question! The 314411 antenna can be used as long as you use the appropriate FCC approved cable length. You could use this antenna paired with the 955822- cable which has SMA-Male and N-Male ends to attach directly to the booster, and the directional antenna. Our boosters are able to accommodate difference in impedance, for antenna and cable pairing in most instances. Question: Can the outdoor antenna be mounted inside against a window?

Answer: We do not recommend placing the directional antenna inside the building near a window area in most cases. You will obtain best results if the directional is outside, free of obstruction. Getting the directional antenna outside will also allow for more antenna separation. For additional questions, you can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Asked by Zaki 4 years ago

Question: Does this antenna receive signals from 20 miles? And if yes can I connect it to any signal booster?

Answer: Thank you for your question! We are unable to give estimates on how far our antennas can reach in miles. Signal is hard to gauge based on miles because so many factors play into signal strength, weather, hills, obstruction, etc. The antenna will use the signal that directly surrounds it, rather than pulling from many miles. The FCC has regulations as to which boosters you can use this antenna with. For the best recommendation, we recommend reaching out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Does this antenna have to be registered with Sprint if it is not going to be connected to a signal Booster?  At this point I am planning to connect the antenna directly to a Netgear Zing hotspot.

Answer: Thank you for your question! Antennas do not need to be registered with your carrier. As far as our products are concerned, you only need to register boosters with us and your carrier. If you have any questions about connecting to your hotspot, or need a recommendation for parts feel free to reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
