It works well

I live in Southern Ohio where ATT signal is low at best. This device has amplified my signal to usable decibel levels. I had to mount the antena on a two story building next to my home in order to pick up the best signal. I had to run a steel cable down to my house to support the coax. I had to use a longer cable then the one provided. I am about 50' from antenna to booster and another 25' to indoor antenna. My indoor decibel level increased from -110 to -91. (I was already using "another brand" window booster.) I can run Youtube, Netflix, phones and tablets in my home with little trouble. (My Internet comes through a Verizon MiFi.) My phones are ATT. My set up was harder than most but I am a IBEW/CWA professional cable and wire technician. If you need this type of install stop and ask a satellite dish installer from any company if they would hire out to help you install this. Overall good product.

generally works, but not for me

The unit generally works to boost signals and the support is good, but in my area both Verizon and AT&T operate LTE in the 700Mhz band right next to each other and the connt 4G evidently can't handle this well. In particular, the signal of the carrier I need was coming in weaker with the result that it was not boosted sufficiently. I ended up returning the unit and purchased a competitor's which handles this situation much better.

Works for me in rural Barndominium

I have a 1600 sqft Barndominium near Caldwell Texas. Caldwell is in a triangle between Dallas, Houston and Austin and essentially has no infrastructure for highspeed internet and minimal towers for cell use. Adding to that, my barn is all metal with spray phone insulation. Inside a received zero signal, nadda, none. Outside I received 2 bars, with a decibel level of 115 which is terrible. So I bought this and didn't have high hope, threw the indoor repeater on a shelf, power the amplifier and placed the antenna outside on a chair just to see if everything powered up while I laid out my permanent mounting plans. Immediately I got signal, 5 bars on all phones and a decibel level of 102. Next I mounted the equipment in proper locations, I placed the receiving antenna about 12 feet up on the corner of the structure and pointed it towards my closes tower [10 miles]. Then I placed the repeater inside facing away from the outdoor antenna and retested my phones. All were in the 95 decibel range. My signal is now good enough to tether my phone to my tv and stream netflix with zero buffering in 1080p. I essentially now have highpseed internet with this thing and it's awesome.

Best Choice I've Ever Made

Every carrier signal in area is really bad. Before setup, signal inside home was 1 bar at best. After setup, no less than 3 bars. Great product.

Spectacular Product!!!

I purchased a booster a couple of years ago for my house. Was the Best investment I ever purchased! I went from 1bar on my cell phone to 4. I have a metal roof on my 2story house and could not get any signal on my phone, as soon as I installed booster on my roof I got 4 bars! I always tell anyone that has a problem with their cell phone signal to invest in a booster so worth the money!

Pricey but worth it

Living in the middle of Nowhere Texas reception is spotty at best. The WeBoost cut out people screaming that they couldn't hear me, no more dropped calls, and crystal clear reception. Doesn't reach as far as advertised.

Only way to work from home

I work from home and mobile phone connection is critical. This system not only boost the signal it provides great LGE data connection which is useful for downloading large emails and attachments. Signal inside my home was almost non existent, and the signal outside isn't the best either. I'm glad this works so well to pickup weak signal and boost it.

One Package Deal Not Best For Everyone

White was not the best color option for me as along my home it sticks out like a sore thumb! Also, as I mounted my directional inside antenna in the attic, and having a short roof, I had to aim the 70 deg antenna at an angle to cover the room we are mainly in but that totally cut off possible service to a different room. For me having a choice of Black cable and an Omni Antenna would have made this a perfect deal.

I would buy this product again and recommend to others.

I'm the owner of an Audio Video and Technology installation company. We installed this for a client who works from home and depends heavily on being able to use their cell phone. Prior to installation, we visited client and used their phone (in field test mode) to check indoor weak area and outdoor strong signal area. On the day of installation we temp installed the system (we attached the outdoor antenna to the top of a 10 foot pole placed in the vacinity of the strong signal area and leaned it against the house) and tested signal strength...it worked great! Signal went from one bar to averaging 4 bars and held fairly steady.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Question: Why does the 4g booster show all green lights when both antenna coaxes are disconnected. How can it be?

Answer: Thank you for your question! The lights will only change if there is feedback or an overloading signal going into the system. It is completely normal to see all green lights with one or no antennas connected. If you are not seeing an improved signal, I suggest reaching out to our support team at 866-294-1660 or email our online team at [email protected] Our team will be able to troubleshoot your system with you and determine what the issue could be. From there, they will provide you with a proper solution. Thank you!

Question: Hello! We live in a rural area and get no signal at all but we do get signal 1 mile away from our house. Question is would this work for directing the antenna to the closest tower we have (14miles) away from us. Thank you for your help!

Answer: It's not likely that this will be able to help you since there's no signal to work with outside. Even though there's signal a mile away the amplifier cannot reach out and grab that signal. You're going to need signal in the spot where the outside antenna is placed. If you're able to recognize that you're able to receive some signal the higher you are in that spot then you have a chance of the amplifier working for you. It's a good idea to test the signal before making any purchases. If you have any issues or if there's any other questions or concerns, please let us know! Question: I recently purchased the Connect 4G package and ordered the DC to DC power supply product number 859110 to power it.(read a Q and A that said this connector would work) Once receiving I noticed the connections don't match up to power the booster. Can I power the connect 4G booster with a DC power supply? I have an off grid cabin that I was hoping to use the Connect 4G system with?

Answer: Hey there, I'm sorry to say but the Connect 4G is not able to connect to a DC power adapter. This is only able to work with AC and may need a DC to AC converter for this unit to work for you. Where did you find that information about the DC power supply working for this unit? Please let us know by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected]

Question: Can you hook up two of the inside antennas so you could put one upstairs and one downstairs?

Answer: It's possible, but not likely unless you have a great signal outside. We only recommend using one antenna for this solution but if you're signal is good enough you may be able to. Before doing that, please contact our customer support and see if that's possible. We've had customers do this in the past but other's haven't been as successful. You can contact customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] for more clarification on this subject. Thank you!

Question: Will these kits improve the signal of a Verizon jet pack/mobile hotspot?

Answer: Thank you for your question! Yes, our amplifiers should be able to help with hotspot connection if there's available connection outside for the amplifier to use. We can determine the signal strength using decibels on your phone to see what signal you have outside and then determine what unit would work best if you have signal outside, how large your home is and expectations of the product. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thanks again!

Asked by Michael 5 months ago

Question: What is the difference between the Directional and Panel outdoor antenna. My uncle has a panel one and gets great reception. I have purchased the next model up which has the directional one. Also, any suggestions on grounding/lightning protection? You have some lightening protection accessories, but how do those work? Any signal loss by using one?

Answer: Thank you for your question! The directional antenna is a higher gain antenna which allows better signal to be brought in than the panel antenna. The only lightning protection we have is the lightning surge protector found here: https://www.weboost.com/products/lightning-surge-protector-75-ohm Usually these are attached to a small jumper cable from the outside antenna and then to the main coax run that comes in the kit. It's then attached to a grounding wire or rod so that it can be routed to another location rather than to the amplifier itself. There's no signal loss from the surge protector. if there would be, it's .5 of a decibel, not much at all. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: I purchased a DB Pro 4G kit last year for a summer home and once installed we had a small improvement in signal strength. This year we only have one bar of signal strength and drop calls all the time. I powered down the system and powered it back up as a "reset" and we still have the same problem. The installation is correct. Is there a chance that this kit is too strong/powerful for a 700 sf home and I should have purchased the smaller kit?

Answer: Thank you for your question! It could be that the antenna has moved outside and not optimally placed. Coverage may have changed or maybe a component has gone bad. Our customer service is great and we should be able to help you with whatever you need. If you call them, they should be able to troubleshoot with you what your issues might be and send out replacements if that's the issue. We're happy to help! Question: I have really poor reception in my house, down in a little valley. I don't know where the cell towers are. Does your unit have some kind of signal strength indicator that would help me aim the antenna?

Answer: Thank you for your question! Our amplifiers don't have an indicator on our consumer models, but most signal strength apps should be able to give you a good idea of where the best signal is. The best signal strength apps are on Android and we typically recommend "Signal Check Lite" which is great for finding signal in decibels. If you don't know where your towers are, a site called "http://www.antennasearch.com, https://www.cellmapper.net/map, or http://www.cellreception.com/towers/ should give you and idea of where they are at. These sites aren't always accurate since they are user submitted but it might help you of where to point. If that doesn't work, we recommend trying to turn the antenna on 40 degree increments, turning the amplifier off and back on after each turn, then checking the signal at the inside antenna. I suggest taking to one of our agents in customer support before purchasing since they can help you find the best signal and see if any of our products would work in your area. You can reach them at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!
