Works great, if the installation is done properly!

I have had this unit up and running for about two months, just remember you are only going to get the best signal you can find outside your home. If you do not have service out side your home this product will not work for you! having said that there are days if you have low service coverage in you area it can change for minute to minute depending of a lot of factors weather conditions and so on. I find that at least 40 feet from the ODU (out door unit) to the booster is about as short as you want to go. I am a professional and have been in this industry for 8 years.

Works but......

It took me a couple of days to get this set up. Living in a very small condo, I have only so many places that I can put the antennas. Once set up it works as expected but I have to keep my eye on it because for no apparent reason the bottom light will start flashing red or orange. I follow all the advise on the website and nothing seems to make a difference. So it just comes down to unplugging, plugging back in to correct problem. A bit of a nuisance, which also means I can not put the booster anywhere out of site. Would I recommend this product? Maybe. I would caution my friend about the problems I have had.

No lie-this works if configured correctly

Wow. That's all I can say. If you get 2 green lights - I had 1 bar/ weak 2 bars. With this installation went to 5 bars. Yes 5 bars and from -114 to -66 signal strength which is a massive improvement. Just make sure if you have a newer phone 4g to change the cell signal to non lte. This works incredibly well. Since we are home wifi does the data anyways. Get this device if you have issues with calls. IT WORKS! Very very happy with this booster.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Love the WeBoost for the Home!

I bought this product about a year ago. It shipped out and was delivered in a timely manner and didn't take long to setup. I live in a finished basement and only got one bar on my cell phone in one location of the home. Just enough to send a text sometimes. With the WeBoost I get full service and can talk anywhere in my home on my cell phone. I love it!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

It's a must!

We bought this product 7 months ago, because we couldn't used our cellphone in the winter cottage. We bought this product after an electrician recommended it to us. The setup to pointed it to the closest tower was not easy, but once it's done, what a difference. The signal is stable. We no longer loosed the connection like before.

Question: My retirement home is 70 miles south of Phoenix. 100 yards into subdivision all handset signal is lost. Some home owners have yagi antennas pointed toward the highway outside the subdivision and boosters inside..what would cause this and which booster would be best for strong phone service and low end internet, texting, email on handset ??

Answer: Most likely a dead zone of some sort. I would ask your neighbors on what their setup is for cellular before purchasing. As far as an amplifier, I think a Connect 4G might help you but it's all going to depend on your signal outside. If you can find a reliable signal outside, we may be able to help.

Question: Will this work with 4g service?

Answer: Thank you for your question! This unit will not work on 4G since it's a 3G booster. You would need to purchase the Home 4G in order for your to receive boost in your devices in 4G. If you do not have 4G service outside your home this unit will not work since it cannot create signal, only enhance what's there. Answer: Thank you for your question! What you'll need is the 859912 which we don't have currently, but you may be able to find it from one of our vendors by doing a quick google search with the number given. Wilson Amplifiers, or even Amazon my hold the power supply. The voltage should be 6V/2.5A, that's what the booster recommends. Question: Im interested in this for my cabin, which has no electricity. Am I able to purchase a cigarette lighter conversion kit, to run it off a car battery, for this so I won't have to run a generator just to get service?

Answer: Hey Bryan, Our boosters can run off battery, but it may not run for long as the booster may pull more power than what you are able to supply off of solar/trickle charging. If you have anymore questions I would like to direct you to our online team - [email protected] Thank you!

Question: Is the indoor antenna omnidirectional; In other words does it need to be in the center of the broadcast area or directionally situated? Can the broadcast antenna be mounted on the ceiling or does it need to be at desk height? Considering 473105.

Answer: Thank you for your question! With the Home 3G system, it is best to have the antenna facing the direction you are targeting to cover. The antenna will be more directional in nature. It is recommended to keep this antenna on a desk-type, or open location for best results. For additional questions, you can reach us directly here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Does this work in homes with metal roofs?

Answer: Thank you for your question. Our boosters are known for being able to help in situations like this, where signal is usable outside, but the metal roof doesn't allow signal in. We are able to help most carriers and networks, and as long as we have enough signal to boost, we should be able to help. You are welcome to reach out to us for a more detailed recommendation. Question: does this booster have CDMA technology?

Answer: Thank you for your question! Our boosters do not decipher the difference between these technologies, meaning they have no preference. We are able to cover the CDMA network as long as there is enough signal to work with. We recommend reaching out to us for further testing, to determine which booster would be the best fit for you.
