How It Works

Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.

1

Receives
Signal

The outside antenna reaches out to the cell tower to access voice and data signals.

2

Transmits
Signal

The booster receives the outside signal from the outside antenna.

3

Boosts
Signal

The booster amplifies the outside signal up to and sends it to the inside antenna.

4

Expands
Signal

The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal inside the vehicle.

Great booster!!

I bought this from weboost, and it does exactly what they say it does! I have about one bar of roaming signal here at home, but in the car with the booster and I get either full signal roaming or if I go to a hill nearby, I can get full signal of 3G! I live 20 miles from the nearest tower, so this is great! Recommend this to anyone who needs reliable signal.

doesn't work

sitting next to my niece, who has an older wilson signal booster, had three bars and a green light while my new wilson signal booster was flashing red and green. I could never get a connection. We even switched antennas, to no avail.

Awesome!

We bought the weBoost Drive 3G Flex for our cabin in WV and for traveling in WV. Before weBoost, we had very limited cell coverage driving to our cabin and at our cabin. At the cabin, our Sprint phones would occasionally have 2 or 3 bars roaming or LTE. It was very spotty and couldn't answer a call or surf the net. Texts may go through if you went to the second floor on the roof. With the Flex installed in our 4Runner, we drove back to the cabin monitoring the cell service the entire trip. We got greater coverage and a better signal on the drive. Then at the cabin, we played with the right spot to put the Flex. Of course, it worked best on the second floor. We were able to make calls, watch videos, surf the net with 3 bars of LTE service! Thanks weBoost!!

Would Not Recommend!!

This booster does not work! 90% of the time it just flashes between red and green. If the green light does stay on solid it does not boost my cel phone signal at all. Very Disappointed with this purchase, especially since it was not an inexpensive purchase. This booster does not even come close to original Wilson booster, which is no longer available for purchase! This is also saddening because my original Wilson booster no longer works either. It will not even come on any longer.......

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

weBoost drive 3G Flex

I bought this item to help out with my inside data on my samsung glaxay verizon phone. I live in a virtual verizon dead zone so was not sure it would help. First off as long as I had it by a window in the right direction it would work, but that window was almost half way across a two story metal sided and roofed home.about 25 feet from where I wanted to use it. Had an outside antenna used for getting in a broadband signal on 16 foot chimney, hooked it up and yes sir it worked just where I wanted it to work, my sofa !. So if you have a smallish home, it would be ok, but for a home like mine a little extra help worked.

Good features but not strong enough

All my jobsites have good reception except for one in Princeton NJ, which is why I purchased the unit. I have a couple more bars but it still cuts in and out. What's your advice? I don't want to spend more money for one jobsite.

Question: Are they any other cheaper boosters under $100?

Answer: Thank you for your question! There's not really. Generally most amplifiers are going to cost the same or a little less than ours. You may try Amazon and see if there's anything there that may be cheaper. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: Do u have one like this but a 4G With a 15 foot range

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! No, not currently. The next step up would be the Home 4G if you're looking for a solution that can be used in the home. That's really going to be a one standard room solution based on your outside signal. I wouldn't expect anything more than that with the Home 4G. That model will suit your needs better than the flex would. If there's any other questions that need to be addressed, please give us a call at 866-294-1660 or contact our online support at: [email protected] Thank you!

Question: I can usually only get between -98 and -103 dBm in my very small apartment. Will this product work for me?

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! As long as you are able to make and keep calls in that area where you'd place the external antenna, the booster should work. However, the signal appears to be very weak and would cover a very small area. The booster is only designed to cover 1-4 feet on average (depending on starting signal). We wouldn't recommend this booster for your application. Please reach out to us for additional recommendations: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Will this unit work with my existing outside pole mounted Wilson multi-band omni-directional antenna, 20' coax, and  model 311135 wide band panel indoor antenna? If so, what do you recommend for 110 power adapter?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The Drive 3G-Flex is not recommended for use with an indoor antenna- as the gray booster serves as the antenna. The omni directional antenna is also not approved by the FCC for use. Lastly, the AC power supply needed for this model is the -859963. Please feel free to reach out to us directly for more questions. http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: How much better booster is this than the Sleek 4G I already own? Have been using it at my rural farm house which helps signal a little. House has metal roof. Wondering if I need to put some kind of antenna on a 20' or so pole.

Answer: Thank you for your question. The Drive 3G-Flex does have a higher gain than the Sleek 4G. Therefore, it would provide more coverage space since the cradle requires direct contact with the cellular device. While the Flex can be used in a home, if you have a metal roof, it's likely the antenna may not be getting the best starting signal to allow the booster to work optimally. For additional suggestions and recommendations we recommend reaching out to us directly here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Can I use a Yagi Antenna with this?

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, due to FCC regulation, the Yagi antenna's are not approved for use with the Drive 3G-Flex. On Page 7 you can find additional approved antenna options: https://www.weboost.com/us/installguide/drive3G-FLEX/drive3G-FLEX_ig.pdf

Question: If i can buy we booster its works in basement. I live at the basement and the signal is very poor just only 1 bar. Everytime i used my phone the signal keep dropping and the other line cannot here. the 3g flex compatible to 4g LTE?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The Drive 3G-Flex is not 4G and LTE compatible, this booster can only cover voice, and 3G. In order to boost most carrier LTE frequencies, you would need a booster labeled 4G. In order to make a more accurate recommendation for your setup, we recommend reaching out to us through our online help center here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE phone through Straight Talk (Tracfone). Will the weBoost 470113 3G flex work with my phone?

Answer: The Tracfone should work on this booster, however, the Drive 3G-Flex will only help to boost voice signals, and 3G signals where available. Any time the phone has 4G capability, it will try to utilize 4G/LTE wherever it's available, so often times the phone may not revert back to 3G unless necessary. If you are mostly concerned about voice calls, this booster would be a good fit.

Question: Does this boost only 3g or would it do the CDMA network aswell?

Answer: Our boosters are able to cover most networks such as CDMA, GSM etc. We like to refer to those as the language, it's all about which frequencies we can and can't help. This booster will only do the 850 MHz, and 1900 MHz, which are 3G data and voice.
