How It Works

Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.

1

Receives
Signal

The outside antenna reaches out to the cell tower to access voice and data signals.

2

Transmits
Signal

The booster receives the outside signal from the outside antenna.

3

Boosts
Signal

The booster amplifies the outside signal up to and sends it to the inside antenna.

4

Expands
Signal

The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal inside the vehicle.

Best Booster ever!

I gave one of these boosters to my Father who lives in Idaho where the signal is very weak and spotty, now his neighbors come over to his house when they need to use their cell phones!

Vehicle boost works for voice, but iffy for data..

I picked up one of these after specifically going through all the web sites to see what supported Sprint's LTE 4G network. I've seen in many areas that this is a particular frequency that isn't covered by all devices, however going to weboot's website directly to look, I saw that they specifically covered this network. Low and behold, once I got it installed and working on the car (see others about ground planes for the antenna, etc like when I tried my RV), I was driving down Hwy 5 (middle of CA) where I typically lose connectivity for very long stretches. My bars on the phone remained and I was spot checking voice and constantly got that to work in places it never worked before, however the most important feature (data) was just as bad as before... ie, it didn't work most of the time. Since 3G isn't covered anymore in many places on Hwy 5 up and down the state, this device essentially became worthless for its intended purpose. Additionally, I have now seen others state that customer service told them it wouldn't work with Sprint's LTE 4G network even though their website even today on 12/1/16 still states that it does. What a waste of time this has been with this product.

Works exactly as advertised

I have had this device for almost 2 years. I use this on a daily basis on T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon on an iPad, iPhone 7 and Samsung Note 5. In the area that I'm in (Columbia River Gorge, WA and OR) this booster performs extremely well for my purposes. I use this booster for work, I do NOT depend on this device for data, only voice, however I was pleased to find it boosts AT&T and T-Mobile's HSPA signals. Verizon does not use HSPA but it did boost Verizon's EVDO (3G). I often experience issues maintaining phone calls but this is a defect with the iPhone trying to maintain the calls on VoLTE and I need it to revert to HSPA for this device to boost it. I often consider an upgrade to a 4G model but don't see the need at this point, especially with the price difference.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Not what I expected

I bought this last month & it barely helps at all. It only raised my signal bar by one in some places & none in most. I thought it would raise it by 2 or 3 at least. I'm not happy at all.

A must have in no service areas.

I do not leave reviews usually but I had to on this weboost. In West Texas there are spots where NO service is available for 30 plus miles but when I installed the weboost I haven't lost a signal yet and I drive all over west texas. Great product!

Asked by Mark H 3 years ago

Question: The 12" mag mount antenna that came with my 3G-M booster broke. Wondering if the mini magnet antenna #301126 can be used in it's place? The shorter antenna may not break so easily. But how does performance compare to 12"?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The 301126 can be used with the Drive 4G-M, but it won't be quite as strong on the voice frequencies. Please reach out to us here for more questions: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I have an old model 801201e that quit working. I have used it in my home with your multi-band omni-directional antenna, pole mounted, 20' coax, and a model 311135 inside wall antenna. Will the new drive 4g-m work this way? What should I use for 110 power?

Answer: Thank you for your question. There are a few antenna options you can use, but we'd like to assess your direct situation for best results. Please reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Question: Drive 3G-M, what antenna is recommended with a roof mount NMO style antenna base

Answer: Thank you for your question. There are a couple of NMO options you can use. The antenna I would recommend using is the 311104. Next you will need the mount for the antenna. You can use 901150 this is a 3/4" mount. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: We have almost no reception out here in Tunbridge. I just bought an iPhone 6 and have a plan with Verizon that is 1 gb  would this booster be the answer for good reception?

Answer: Thank you for your question! All of our booster do need signal in the area in order for them to work properly. You may want to look at the Drive 3G-X here: https://store.weboost.com/products/drive-3gx. This is meant for more rural locations with lower signal. Question: Hello, Drive 3G-M said that it is a kind of craddle but on the main page it is write Multi-User . Is this multi or signle user (Cradel) Thank you

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us, and our apologies for any confusion. The Drive 3G-M is a multi-user booster. There is no cradle included in this kit, as the indoor antenna is a smaller, low profile style antenna. Typically the coverage inside from the indoor antenna, will range from 1-5 feet depending on the outside starting signal. Question: I own a 22 ' Class C RV. I own a SOHO Wireless Dual-Band Cellular/PCS Signal Booster. Are your units inside and outside antenna connectors the same as mine currently laid in already. Do you have pictures of these connectors and the ant?

Answer: More than likely, the SOHO you had, had FME- Male or N-Male connectors, depending on which SOHO unit you had. We can help determine that by verifying your serial number. The Drive 3G-M has SMA- Female connectors. All of our kits, legally have to be sold in kit form, so the Drive 3G-M would come with new indoor, outdoor antennas, booster, and new power supply. I would recommend submitting a ticket here so we can look more directly in to your configuration. https://www.weboost.com/us/support-center/
