Question: With this external antenna, does the booster still need to be 'visible' to a signal?

Answer: Good question! No, the booster will not need to be placed in the area with the strongest signal. Once the antenna is connected to the booster, the antenna itself will be the only component that will need to be placed in the area with the strongest signal. If you have any other questions that need to be addressed, please feel free to reach back out to us at 866-294-1660 or email us at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: Why does description of eqo External Antenna say it is indoor? Will it work on my roof outdoors.

Answer: The EQO is made for the indoors and not for outdoor use, even the external antenna. It's still meant to be inside your home while giving you coverage. Somewhere on the window may help you gain more reception if there's signal available.

Question: Does this product improve signal for calls and texts?

Answer: For the EQO, yes. By itself it will not help you unless connected to a cellular unit.

Question: My cell phone signal at my remote cabin keeps dropping. How does this item work? How is it powered? Is it sorta like wi fi, or do I have to wire/attach my cell phone to it?

Answer: Our units require a outside antenna, amplifier, and inside antenna. Everything that's needed is required in the kits. There are certain parameters that are established with signal to get the best amplifications. I suggest calling out customer support team to be able to get in the know on what's the best unit for you. They can be reached at 866-294-1660.
