Question: What is the range for this antenna connected to a 4gx? If the antenna is mounted almost directly overhead but 6 ft away from the work area will I see a sufficient boosted signal? How does this antenna mount on the ceiling? Can this antenna be mounted on a vertical surface within 6 to 8 foot of the work area. I'm researching this for use in a class A motorhome.

Answer: This antenna will not be able to cover much area because of the amplifier that it's being used on. I would keep the antenna that comes with the unit or use a desktop antenna.
