Question: I'm trying to connect a 304420 Marine antenna to a weBoost 4G system on a boat with 110v inverted power. It appears I need an adapter for the antenna cable. Can you please confirm this will work with a sma-female to f-type objector at the amplifier?

Answer: Thank you for your question! Yes, it should work but you'll need multiple connectors to do so. Are you wanting to use a mobile antenna for a home unit? It might be better to use a building antenna and have a window entry cable instead if that's possible. Just let us know more about your situation so we can make the correct recommendation for your needs. If there's any other questions or concerns, please let us know by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thanks again!

Question: Will this work with a Connect 4G-X?

Answer: Thank you for your question! It will if you have an N-Male to SMA-Female connector but a building antenna may be better with the correct coax fittings like the 304422. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: Does the 304420 marine antenna require a ground plane? If so, how small can it be? That is, how large must it be? And, just where (vertically) must it be located in relation to the antenna?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The 304420 will have a built in ground plane, so no additional plane is required. Usually you will mount to a standard marine mount. Question: The information on the mounting of the 304420 antenna is rather sketchy stating it is compatible with a 1" x 14 thread. Can you explain this better? Is there a mounting device available?

Answer: Thank you for your question. The 1x14 is a standard threading for most Marine mounts. There are a few options, but this is one we offer: https://store.weboost.com/products/marine-antenna-mount Please reach out to us here, for additional questions: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
