How It Works

Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.

1

Receives
Signal

The outside antenna reaches out to the cell tower to access voice and data signals.

2

Transmits
Signal

The booster receives the outside signal from the outside antenna.

3

Boosts
Signal

The booster amplifies the outside signal up to and sends it to the inside antenna.

4

Expands
Signal

The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal inside the vehicle.

It Works!

Okay, admittedly I was skeptical at first. I was on a 2-week trip through the back country of Oregon. Since I was on my own, I needed to check in with family every now and then. This device got me a signal where I could not get one before. Or, I could get a whisper of a signal, and with this device, could get a steady signal. If you barely have one bar and it goes in/out constantly. This device will likely give you 2 consistent bars. Granted, if there is no signal (say you are in a deep canyon), this device will not help. This device is not a replacement for personal GPS finders/trackers (Spot) or satellite phones. Bottom line: it works and it is easy to use.

Warranty replacement

Had a Sleek 3G 460106 which died after 8+ mos. The new unit looks great but signal amplification is much the same as the old unit. Super warranty service. Many thanks.

This does improve signal in the car.

I drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco Area twice a week. Driving on I-5 in Central California the signal there is horrible. I usually go to settings on my Samsung S7 and can actually see the signal strength improve as i drive. This is a must have item when you drive long distances.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Has made a difference.

I've used my booster in both my work truck (18 wheeler), and my personal vehicle. I've noticed that in a few known dead spots that I've been able to keep a conversation, which has been important for a couple of the calls. On down the road, I may invest in an even better booster.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Question: Can you use a taller antenna with the product like the 3G?

Answer: Thank you for your question! We aren't sure which antenna you're referring to. I'm guessing the OTR antenna. You can use that antenna with this setup but I would look into the Drive Sleek OTR for a complete kit. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Answer: Thank you for your question! I cannot find any information on that part. You may have to talk to a customer support rep and see what they can do for you. Sending in a picture of the SN may help as well since we can find the exact model with that information. Question: I work in areas were signal falls off to none in my line of work I'm looking for a system that will be able to help with signal

Answer: Thank you for reaching out. While we can't help in areas with no signal, for areas that are rural we recommend the Drive 3G-X or Drive 4G-X. These boosters have the highest output power allowed by the FCC. For additional questions, you can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We do sell just antenna only. You would need the 301126. Please let us know if you have any other questions! http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Answer: Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, we don't have any antenna mounts quite like what you are mentioning, but we would like to work with you to see if we have something to best fit your needs. Please reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Is there any wider cradle that you offer rather than removing one of the grips and using a rubber band? I have a droid turbo2 with an otterbox cover and it wouldn't be too handy to have to secure it with a rubberband :(

Answer: Thank you for your question. We do have a little bit larger set of arms available - we'd be happy to work with you to see if those might help hold your phone better. Please reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: I bought the earlier version of this unit which is hooked up to your glass mount antenna and I still have drop outs. I was told this is a one watt unit but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there a way to test it or reset it?

Answer: Thank you for your question. There are ways we can test the unit by placing your phone in to a test mode. We are happy to walk you through that to see if your booster is working. Please reach out to us directly here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Question: Do you recommend this device for a home?

Answer: Thank you for your question. If you are looking for a select area in your home to receive boosted signal, you can use this device. For in home use, we recommend pairing the Drive 3G-S with the 859100- in home accessory kit. As long as you have a window area which you can make and receive calls consistently, this booster should work for in home use. For additional questions, you can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Will this booster work in Australia on Australian networks, namely telstra?

Answer: Thank you, for your question! There are a few different carrier we may be able to support in Australia, if carrier permission is obtained. We recommend first reaching out to your carrier to determine which frequencies they operate off of. Next, we recommend reaching out to us directly, to determine if we can support those frequencies. Asked by Dave S 4 years ago

Question: do you have a cradle booster suitable for 3G/WCDMA/UMTS for Telecom (now called Spark) in New Zealand  Spark supports the following 3G operating frequencies: 850MHz / 2100MHz I think 850 band is used here  more in the country side and 2100 in cities?.

Answer: Thank you for your question! We are able to cover the 850 for most carriers. However, the 2100 band, we are only able to cover a portion of that frequency. We utilize the 2100 band as our downlink, but we do not cover the upper portion. Most likely we would not be able to boost that band entirely. Some countries require carrier permission before the use of a booster, therefore, we always recommend reaching out to your carrier for cases like these. We also recommend asking your carrier what range they use on the 850 MHz band. Once you know this, you can then reach out to us for more detailed support. For additional questions, please feel free to reach us here through our online support center: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
