What are you going to do about poor cell phone reception?

Posted on 9/22/2016 by Nicholas Jones

Nowadays pretty much everyone owns a cell phone.

The people at the Pew Research Center, which tracks mobile global phone ownership and use, says the actual numbers in 2015 were 92 percent of the U.S. total adult population and 83 percent in Canada.

According to Pew, almost three in four Americans own a smartphone and two of three Canadians.

High expectations of service

Most of us have our phone with us 24/7, and expected to be able to use it whenever and wherever we are – while in bed first thing in the morning, at work, while commuting, at restaurants, in school, the doctor’s office, relaxing or playing on weekends, you name it.

The expectation is cell service availability anywhere, anytime.

But that’s not the reality.

Many can’t use their phone

The same Pew researchers tell us that 47 percent of smartphone users in the U.S. experience cell signal of such poor quality that that it “prevents them from using their phone.”

And 11 percent say that happens to them “frequently.”

Maybe it happens to you. Maybe at home, or in your workplace, or in your vehicle.

We’ve posted several times in this blog about why you have poor cell reception, the kinds of things that block cell signals, and how to increase cell signal.

It’s no surprise that poor cell reception happens.

The question is: What are you going to do about it?

Fortunately, weBoost offers a solution

To help those with bad cell coverage, there is a full line of weBoost cell phone signal boosters – for the home, for the workplace and for vehicles.

First, a little about us. weBoost is a Wilson Electronics brand. Wilson has been designing and building cell phone signal boosters since 1999.

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission asked Wilson to join the government and the cell service providers in writing the rules that now regulate cell signal boosters.

Wilson holds more than 50 U.S. patents related to cell boosting technology. Our competitors can’t say any of those things.

Our cell phone boosters

weBoost signal boosters improve cell reception by up to 32x to eliminate lost connections, provide clearer audio, speed up downloads, as well as increase coverage area and range.

Most models support multiple simultaneous connections across multiple carrier networks.

Our cell phone boosters are universal. They work with all cellular devices, all service providers, all networks and all generations of technology, including 4G LTE, in the U.S. and Canada.

How they work

If you want to see how our signal boosters work, watch the video above. The simple explanation: they detect and collect existing cell phone signals, even very faint ones.

They then amplify those signals, and distribute them throughout your home, workplace, or vehicle so all phones get strong, reliable reception.

Our boosters don’t need an Internet connection. You never have to synch or pair your phone to a weBoost system. They just work.

Not just our word

But you don’t have to take our word for it. All weBoost devices are certified by the FCC in the U.S. and by IC in Canada.

That means our boosters have been independently tested and these governments certify that they boost signal as claimed.

weBoost signal boosters are engineered and manufactured in the USA. No competitors can say that either.

And of course, there are lots of different models to fit every situation and budget. Like the Connect 4G, Connect 4G-X and the Home 4G.
